Allow me to post something about myself……..

今天晚上是台大薩克斯風社的季末成果發表會，我早早就報名要參與，哪知今天早上發現我的那把Saxophone聲音怪怪的，趁著中午休息趕緊拿去樂器行檢修，我的運氣可真是背到極點，到了樂器行，裡頭的人說，修理Sax的師傅休假中。。。。。
剛好有位從蘆洲來的技師，就說先幫我看一下。哇，感激涕零，But…災難還沒結束，這位技師檢查了下說: 我的Sax漏氣很嚴重，今日無法修好，問我很急著要用嗎？晚上要上台吹奏了，我只好跟他說看能否緊急處理一下。同時，我趕緊打電話給以前的Sax老師問他是否有多的Saxophone可以借我一把，老師很快的答應可以借我一把Tenor Sax。我的那把終歸是無法立刻處理好，只好留在那靜待師傅休假後回來幫我看。除了這個緊急意外事件還加上早上我不小心扭到左腳踝，導致行動不便，有點跛行，真是什麼狀況都撞在一起。

Anyway，我順利拿到一把Tenor Sax，晚上到了現場，吃了Pizza喝了飲料後開始抽籤排表演順序，第一位被抽到的人沒來，我是第二位，自然就順勢遞補變成首位上場表演的人。吼吼，這算是幸運嗎 。表演開始，In a Sentimental Mood前面吹的還算順利，但哪知道到了中間間奏的時候，負責播放音樂的老師以為我吹完了，就把音樂fade out，然後卡了…..Orz。我說我還沒吹完耶，也怪我自己沒準備即興solo，所以讓他誤解我的吹奏結束了。還好後來他們讓我有 2nd chance，所以下面放的影片是第二次上場的表演，而且是我要求要多吹一首Close to You。因為 Close to You 是臨時追加的，所以我才看譜吹。昨天真的狀況連連，definitely not my day。

始終練的不夠純熟，所以還是發生失誤，但總之我吹完了，用不是自己的樂器表演完兩首歌，感謝到現場幫我錄影的朋友，以下就是我兩首歌曲表演。

P.S. 比較悶的是這星期我都沒樂器可以練了，調整要下禮拜才會好，我想念我的Tenor889 。

Today, actually last night the school sax club that I joined held an announcement campaign。I applyed to perform very early.
But in the morning I found the sound of my tenor sax was strange, therefore I took my sax to musical instrument shop for repairing at noon.
So bad luck for me today, because when I was in the instrument shop, the salesman told me the repairman was day-off today.  

there is a technician who is from other store said he can check for me. Wow so happy…but my disaster was not over.
After a few checking, this technician told me my sax’s problem is serious, he can’t fix it within today, need more times.

I have to call my sax teacher to lend me one, let me can finish my performance. more over, my left ankle injured, just so many conditions happened in one day…

Finally, I got another tenor from my teacher.  Been to the event place, after eating some pizza and drinking, they start to make lot to decide the performance order，the first one was not there, I am the 2nd, so I became the first one! Can this call good luck for me?  

The show time, it went smoothly at the begining when I playing “In a Sentimental Mood” but in the middle, the interlude of the music, the person who charged playing music thought my performance finished, he fade out the music and stop it…orz 。I said my playing is not over! Blame me didn’t prepare solo for the middle interlude so he misunderstood my performance was over. Fortunately, they gave me 2nd chance, so the on-line videos was my 2nd times performance, and I asked to play one more song- “Close to You”。Yesterday really happened many conditions, definitely not my day, ha. Anyway, I finished 2 songs playing even though I made mistakes due to not practicing enough.

Thanks my friend for filming my playing and enjoy your watching, even though it’s not a good performance.

P.S. I can’t pratice sax this week due to the repairing, sigh……..it made me felt little lonely, I missed my tenor889 。

Majestic Fly
There is no way for a human being to sense the bird’s fly.  You can only close your eyes, give vent to imagination and soar up towards the places where the foot of man has never stepped. In my life there are several things which force my soul to leave its cozy place somewhere at the bottom of my heart and begin its eternal fly to the unknown. It happens when I am in love, when I listen to my favorite music and when I see…  Zhenya performing with Hoop.

This routine reminds me of a majestic bird’s fly… a bird which has no obstacles on its way. At one stroke of its powerful wings the bird shoots upwards to the unattainable altitude and keeps on soaring in a grand manner over the whole world. Its swift fly charms you, absorbs your attention, and makes you hold your breath. At the very beginning of the program – one deep breath, and my soul sets out, following her and giving me sense of weightlessness, confidence and invincible power.

Only when the final chords of music abate, I realize the necessity of coming back down to Earth. Though this fly is very short, it is truly majestic and INVALUABLE!

Человеку на дано испытать полет птицы.  Можно лишь, закрыв глаза, дать волю воображению и взмыть ввысь – туда, куда еще не ступала нога человека. В моей жизни всего несколько вещей заставляют мою душу покинуть свое уюное местечко где-то в глубине моего сердца и отправиться в бесконечный полет в неизведанное. Это происходит когда я влюблена, когда я слушаю любимую музыку и когда я… смотрю выступление Жени с обручем.

Это упражнение напоминает мне величественый полет птицы… птицы, на пути которой не существует преград. Одним взмахом своих сильных крыльев она устремляется в небо на недосягаемую высоту и продолжает величаво парить над всем миром. Ее стремительный полет завораживает, приковывает внимание, заставляет задержать дыхание. В самом начале программы – глубокий вдох, и моя душа взлетает всед за ней, даря мне ощущение невесомости, уверенности и нерушимой силы.

И только когда стихнут последние аккорды музыки, приходит понимание необходимости возвращаться на Землю. И пусть этот полет очень короток, но он воистину велик и БЕСЦЕНЕН!

這個Routine讓我想到帝王之鳥的飛翔，一種飛行時沒有任何阻礙的鳥。僅僅一個強有力的拍翅，即能使這種鳥飛躍至高不可攀的海拔高度，然後維持著這崇高華麗的姿態翱翔於整個世界之上。它迅捷的飛行迷惑你，吸引你的注意力，使你屏氣寧息。在這個routine的剛開始–一個深呼吸，我的靈魂隨之出發航行，跟隨她，帶給我無重力、自信跟不敗的力量。

只有當音樂最後的和弦趨緩，我才了解到必須回歸到現實。雖然這個飛翔非常的短暫，但卻是雄壯華麗跟無價的!

Reporter: When Evgenia Kanaeva works on the carpet, you cannot hear so common shout of the trainers. But you can see a smile on the face of Vera Shtelbaums and her student, even when the hoop in the new routine doesn’t want to fly in the right direction.

Vera Shtelbaums: We usually solve all the problems in a calm manner. She is a very young gymnast yet and, of course, it was hard. Because beside all the main events such as WC, EC, World Games and Universiade, she had to take part in other events; and everywhere she had to show the best she could. Of course, it was tough, but Zhenya handled it well. She didn’t let anybody get the gold.

Reporter: You can win as much as you CAN, and Kanaeva will win as much as she WANTS. Only in this season she became a 5-time European Champion, a 6-time World Champion, all-around Champion of Grand Prix Final. So far everything goes so smoothly, that they are afraid to be put off by too much praise.

Irina Viner: Zhenechka, so far, is above everyone… Knock the wood! She is a very clever girl. I wish her to remain healthy. Yesterday we were discussing the plans for future with Vera Shtelbaums and we decided to take a very good care of Zhenya and spare her strength. She deserves it.

Reporter: Four absolutely new routines have to be prepared within just a month. Zhenya will practice them till December, 30. Then she will fly to Omsk to celebrate the New Year with her parents, watching television and drinking some Champaign. For the Olympic Champion New Year is a family holiday.

Zhenya: We will have just few days off, because the competition season starts very early this year. In January we will already take part in World Cup. We used to start the season at the end of February – beginning of March. And this year we already have the first significant start in January. Now we are preparing a new program – I have four new routines. There is much to work at.

Reporter: According to the doctors it will be easier for gymnasts to work now. Just few days ago a distal counterpulsation device was brought to Novogorsk. It was developed overseas and upgraded in China; this device has been used by NBA players for more than thirty years. Now not only American Dream Team possesses this technical miracle, but the Russian Gymnastic Dream Team as well.

Irina Viner: My granny used to say: “One must reap, as one has sown”. She referred these words to her pies, and I apply them to gymnastics. This device will help children to recover after the trainings, after hard work. It restores the pulse, the blood circulation and therefore, the main organ – the heart – is not overloaded. For us it is very important. It also good for the trainers, because when we get too much stress, we can also use this machine.

Reporter: People say the success of the football team Rubin from Kazan was caused by the usage of this device. If even our football players started to win, what shall we tell about our gymnasts who are still best in the world! We will learn the first result already in January!

Zhenya: Routine of the Year 2009

For me，Zhenya’s “Routine of the Year 2009” definitely is Zhenya’s ball rouitne @AA Final of WC Mie 2009!
Also the most classic、beautiful and touched moment of Zhenya in her career life till now!
Yes, She made mistakes at this routine，but at the same time I just felt very moved by her performance and got great pain when I saw her crying at Kiss & Cry，but also I am very happy for Zhenya!

Every time I watch this routine, I feel like crying again… I have tears in my eyes now when I am writing this article. Today I asked Alyona to translate the conversation of Zhenya and those Russian coaches at Kiss & Cry。When I read Alyona’s translation I didn’t need to watch the video again. I could feel the emotions, it filled my heart with pain and I felt like crying for Zhenya again….

Last year I was also so moved when I saw Zhenya’s tears at OG Beijing，but the moment at Mie，her ball routine at AA Final was totally overwhelming，I can’t imagine how big the responsibility on Zhenya’s shoulders is but the tension of the competition is a huge test to physical strength.

Zhenya got through，She survived! She is really a strong gymnast, great athlete and true champion!!!

Zhenya (sitting): What kind of… (Viner interrupts her).
Viner: First place, Zhenya!
Women: First! We are first! That’s it! That’s why she was crying – from happiness.
Viner (after kissing Zhenya): She is still crying! No one knows what you have missed.
Woman in red t-shirt (kissing Zhenya): Everything is ok, God will help you.
Viner (standing up): Yes, everything is all right.
Woman in red: Sweetheart, thanks God, it has finished!

觀看過程的虐心程度-套用大陸朋友的話，一時我不知道是否要用中文再寫一遍。
雖然是個happy ending，但是再書寫一次自己的感覺，我的心又會再糾結一次…………

Kiss and Cry 的對話很簡單，我想我不需要再寫中譯了，Alyona的翻譯很完美! 寫中譯我可能情緒又會很激動。
有意思的是…Zhenya說: What kind of…然後被打斷了。幾個小時前我跟Alyona討論這件事，Zhenya是想說什麼呢? Alyona給我一個很完美的答案。anyway，答案在Zhenya心中。

Finally sent out our greeting gifts，THANKS EVERYONE!

Yesterday I finally sent out our greeting gifts-a very big parcel via EMS express，in normal condition it will take 5-7 days to arrive Moscow，but now is Christmas season，so may be will take longer。Zhenya will celebrate New Year at OMSK，and come back to Novogorsk for new routines’ training on beginning of January。So she will get this big parcel when she come back to Novogorsk。

Sorry for the late，because there were many other things coming up and I need to manage everything。Big Big thanks to RC for helping me a lot on this project! designed many beautiful letter papers。

This parcel is sooooo BIG is because there is a big amazing Mosaic poster designed by a Zhenya fan，really excellent，spectacular and incredible art work! Zhenya definitely will be very surprised when she saw this poster。But sorry I can’t share the photo of this poster，I need to keep it in secret for that girl。

As to the photo of this big parcel and the detailed inside photos ，again sorry I can’t post it publicly，I only share it with those people who joined this project。

Dear friends!

Let me introduce myself very shortly for those who don’t know me yet. My name is Alyona and I was born in Russia. At present I live in Antalya/Turkey.

I am very happy to be a member of this wonderful “family” called Zhenya fans club. I have met here many kind-hearted and caring people, truly devoted to the person who evokes their inspiration – Zhenya Kanaeva. I am glad that we have this space to share the news, ideas and our new creative works with each other. I would like to thank the creators of the space – Li-Ting Wan and Catts! I greatly appreciate the work they do for Zhenya and for us, her fans.

I want to congratulate Zhenya and all her fans and followers on the coming holidays! I wish you good health, endless success, joy and happiness in the new 2010 year! Let God always be on your side! I love you all from the bottom of my heart.
