Nunca pienso en la rivalidad. Siempre lucho conmigo misma porque estoy sola en el tapíz. Y necesito hacer lo que mi entrenadora me enseñó, lo que hemos preparado. Esto es lo más importante para mí.

La gimnasta ya había aliviado su estrés después de la competencia: tuvo una semana de descanso. Y mañana se va para ir a una nueva competencia con su entrenadora.

– Año con año es más difícil dar el paso adelante, – admite la gimnasta. – Es difícil superar a ti mismo, porque el cansancio se acumula y estás a punto de rendirte. Pero necesitas distraerte de este tipo de pensamientos y hacer tu rutina como si fuera la primera vez.
