@StretchyLily, yes only two spots max. Because this year, only AA final for senior individual no EF in European Championship. Both Darias are injured at this moment, Kondakova’s left knee and Dmitrieva’s feet. Hope them recover soon.
About OG spots in RUS team, till the last minute, I won’t say who is 100% going. who knows. Anyway, I just wish ALL THE BEST for Zhenya!!!!!

I do hope Kanaeva returns to top form, if not surpasses it! First, because I would love to see her win the OG this year, and second, because I am going to be there to see it..(and I’d be very disappointed otherwise).
I think Merkulova is way out of her league; perhaps they are pushing her now into everything in case she fails to live up to some people’s high expectations after London.. I haven’t seen anything extraordinary from her performances that justifies the favour she is getting. Compared to many others, her performances seem unremarkable. She could be or could have been better, but either she has not peaked yet, or she’s not going to get any better than this. Who knows..
