On 10 April, 2010 internet site http://www.sib21vek.ru/ext-voting/9.html will start voting for the title “The Siberian of the Year”. There are 34 candidates chosen by the Experts’ Committee and only seven of them are going to get a very honorable title of “The Siberian of the Year”. Zhenya is nominated again for her amazing results in 2011, became the only one gymnast in RG history to win 17 gold medals in world championships. (and a gymnast to win most world championships titles so far) Zhenya was one of the winners of this project in 2008 and 2009. (Note by Zoe Wan: Zhenya was the 1st in the vote of 2008 and 2nd in 2009) Zhenya was nominated for The Siberian of the Year-2010 too, but didn’t win the title.

The voting will go on within 10 April – 18 April. Everyone can vote for seven different people once a day.

I feel familiar about the description of Zhenya’s results/record in 2011 (WC Montpellier and GP Brno), I think they copied the information from Zhenya’s wiki page that I edited for her haha 😀
