Zhenya did very very well in Aug, won 4 golds and 1 silver @Universiade ShenZhen, then added 5 more golds @Berlin Masters 2011! Therefore, once again she was nominated “Best Athlete of August-Golden Pedestal” by Russia Channel 2″ . Actually, she was nominated for “Best Athlete of Month” many many times since 2008, but only won this honor once, it was in last year, after EC Bremen, she was the “Best Athlete of April” ! This year, she was nominated for “Best Athlete of May” and entered to the final stage, but lost to Maria Sharapova with a very big difference… After all, RG is also not so popular in Russia, it’s difficult for a RG gymnast to win this title among soccer, hockey stars…Nevertheless, congratulations Zhenya!!! nominee is great honor already. 因為八月份的傑出表現, 大學生運動會四金一銀, 加上柏林大獎賽五面金牌, 小兔寶再度被Russia Channel 2 提名八月最佳運動員. 從2008年開始, 小兔寶就是這個Golden Pedestal 單月最佳運動員提名榜的常客, 但是她只贏過一次這個獎項, 就是去年四月, 因為EC Bremen. 今年EC Minsk之後, 也被提名五月最佳運動員, 而且也進入最後決賽, 兩人對決的階段, 但是慘敗給Maria Sharapova, 當時得票率差距很大. 因為即使在俄羅斯, 練RG的人不少, 可是受歡迎程度遠遠不及足球跟曲棍球, 因此RG選手要贏得單月最佳是頗為困難的。。。

無論如何, 提名就是很大的肯定, 恭喜小兔寶!!! 俄羅斯RG迷們, 請投票給小兔寶啊!!!
