I was watching this video and omg…everytime I watch little Zhenya videos they give me goose bumps! I see this little girl fighting for a dream about doing what she loved, what was Rhythmic Gymnastics. She was pretty good, but who could have thought she will become the biggest legend of our beloved sport. I remember when I saw little Zhenya, but I never thought she will be the best in history, because yes, no matter who likes it, she is a true legend. Others has been good, historic as well, but Zhenya is the huge one. Because greatness is not only showed while compiting but also behind competitions. And this this is a quality which other legends in sport lack. She has been an incredible gymnast, technically perfect, with an unique elegance, with the most beautiful sweet moves i’ve ever seen. Unlike many others gymnasts, and the most important, she is so humble, always trying to take care of all she loves, always attentive to her fans and surrounded by good people like her mum, grandmum, coach and some awesome fans like you, Zoe. I have also to thank you because without your help (and all who help you here) I would not know anything about one of the persons I admire more in this world. Evgenia Kanaeva.

I found that I’m totally in love in her. Thats the most beautiful thing I have seen in the world. I know nothing about this sport but it just beautifully amazed me! She is so unique. Seriously, I think I need to go to see she performs at least once in my life! (may be its too late?). Anyway, congrats from Hong Kong!
@ Michela Pira, I think it’s because TV broadcast didn’t show that moment she gave her gold medal to Vera Shtelbaums. And actually, after her, Dmitrieva did the same thing, she gave her silver medal to her coach.:)
