Actually it was not mia martina doing the ribbon ,it must have been her camera person and they sat the camera on a stool.
I love Mia Martina’s ribbon routine in her video Burning.She is a good singer/performer with very good songs but what a shame for rythmic gymnastics.She should be ashamed of herself.

the pink thing in her ribbon leotard is a “pink heart”, she wore it in Aeon Cup 2011, actually every gymnast wore a “pink heart” in Aeon Cup 2011 on their leos, I think it was from the organization of Aeon Cup. check this video (ribbon routine)

Many thanks for the links!! I was so anxious to see them. I really like her ball routine and that she has so far kept the costume that reminds me of Marilyn Monroe’s ”Happy Birthday dress” (except w/red accents). I also like the adjustments she’s made to her ribbon routine (btw, what was that pink thing she wore near her shoulder?). I love her new purple costume for hoop, and the elements she performs in the routine, although I think it could be made more cohesive so that it flows better (unless it was the video quality that affected my perception). Clubs is generally my least favourite event, but I enjoyed her music selection and the routine as a whole. Things are looking very good for her. She has decent time to polish up her routines. I hope she stays healthy and confident.
The beginning of the gala video was funny because of the random “doing, doing” sound of someone’s phone ringing. Zhenya’s costume seemed creatively sensual, as if she rose out of her bed sheets that day and started performing straightaway, haha. I do not like the song but her performance was beautiful.

I’m in love with her ball routine.I just think that will be her best at olympic time.I think they all will be great but I think her highest score will come from ball.I think the best music choice for this routine is crawling by linkin park.Obviously this last part I’m being stupid,(although it is a darn good song)I’m just bored,can’t wait for the olympics to start. Even at work I’m thinking about the olympics.

I love Zenya’s new routines so much. My favorite till the moment is the routine with clubs. I love the Spanish music she chose. She needs to work hard, but from what I saw in the videos, she is one of the most original this year.The changes she has included in ribbon are amazing. What a pity ball mistake, but the routine is quite good. I’m in love with the music, but I think is quite difficult to play. The only one which really doesn’t convince me is hoop. Not good performance yesterday nor good music choice I think!

Zhenya hoop 28.750, ball with drop and out of carpet 27.450, clubs did well got 29.250, ribbon with a small drop 28.750. total score in qualification=114.2 ranked 2nd in AA pity…hopefully she will do much better in tomorrow. her ball is out of final, wait for more detailed results. GO Zhenya!!!
Can anyone tell me what colour Evgenia’s eyes are . I can not tell from this picture.You always hear the phrase this person has nice eyes and I often thought hey;there eyes.But now I know how pretty eyes can be.Not like mine ,mine are squinty and beatty,although that could just be because alot of times I’m not wearing my contacts.
