@Dorian Oh, that is great! It has been a pleasure.
Thanks alot for the information.I’m still seriously thinking about it.Three of my grandparents are from London so I bring it up to them alot,the fact that the Olympics are in London.My niece loves rythmic gymnastics so that is the main reason why I; and my grandparents are interested.Seriously;thanks alot,you’re response was very informative and helpful.
@Zoe Thanks! Haha. I had just finished telling someone else about artistic gymn, so when I came to this blog, I typed faster than I was thinking 😉 For RG, I took it all! Yes I am pleased to possibly help inform people who are interested in going to the OG.
@Zoe Thank
@StretchyLily, Thank you very much for the OG tickets information. Just to note, RG does not have event finals in OG, only all-around. There are only two golds for RG in OG, individual AA and group AA.
Just a side note: I saw some of the prices for the diving competitions and each ticket was listed for $600! 😛 I thought that was quite interesting.
@Dorian Each “A” seat ticket is over $200 US, plus shipping is an extra $30 unless you opt for will-call pickup in London then there’d be no ship fee. The ”B” seat tickets cost about $140 US each but in my opinion it is more worth it to pay the little extra for better seating. Each ticket is for the sport competition per day, so for four days (9 August through 12 August), there would be four tickets to attend everything. For example, one day there are the first two rotations of Qualifying AA, then the next day would be the 3rd and 4th rotations, then the next days each would have individual finals and event finals.
I missed the first sale of tickets in December, then finally luckily caught the temporary release of tickets for purchase again this month before they shut down RG ticket sales within the same day. So you have to keep looking for news. I have several friends who work for big financial companies, so if they get me tickets for free, which the companies give away to them anyway, then I might sell the tickets I bought that are arriving by post, to someone who missed the chance to buy them before they sold out.
It helps to have friends, relatives, or acquaintances to stay with in London, but if not, it is worth it to hunt for deals as soon and as frequently as possible.
Keep checking the news for the next ticket release sales. I hear they are releasing tickets again in May to the general public, if not sooner.
I thought I missed out on my chance and was terribly disappointed, but then the opportunities appeared. It means so much to me to be there, especially during my birthday. So if you really want to go, and don’t have the money yet, try to set aside some money every week, and/or ask friends and acquaintances if they might know something or have special access, in case an opportunity comes to you so you will be ready to seize it!
I was just wondering how expensive it was to see this event at the olympic games and you should be excited and good for you in getting them.I was just wondering if it was buy the ticket and you can see all days; or if it is buy ticket for a specific day. I’m pretty sure it would be buy ticket for specific day but I just thought I’d ask.
:*
@activschorle, please be patience, Tatiana will do it.
That hoop routine is quite great! I like it so much. With some of work it will be a masterpiece!
